Why I'm a nut-job

In the last six months, I've published four stories.  I didn't write four books in six months, although my process does involve me putting one up and working on a different one, so at any given moment, I'm in the middle of three books.  No, I've been working on the latest release, My Mistake, for almost a year, so the time went into each book.  They're all beta read, revised, edited, etc.

Yeah, so I've decided I'm a nut-job.  My initial plan was to release a book every ninety days, and I have no idea when I decided to flush that plan down the toilet and release books as fast as I could.  I'm not sure it was ever a conscious decision, just a "well, this one's close to being finished, I'll go ahead and get 'er done and release it" sort of thing.  That, and I enjoy writing and selling my books.  Sure, it's frustrating, when I sort of add up how many hours I work vs how much money I actually bring in and realize I'm working for pennies an hour.  But it gives me something to do besides focus on my real life.

I'm an escapist, and writing helps me do that.

And I'm addicted to B-12.  That's the only way any of it was possible.

In the past six months, there have been Holidays, and a HUGE move which is still happening.  In fact, I've promised my husband I'll take a short break from the writing business to help with the endless garage sale that has to happen to sell the old house, so...

My Mistake was released yesterday.  It wasn't supposed to happen until the tenth of April or so, but I figured what the hell, it's ready, why not?  The blog tour is coming up on the fourteenth, so watch out for that.  In the meantime, if you want to pick up your copy, it's on AmazonBarnes and Noble, and Smashwords.   If you haven't seen it yet, yesterday's post has the cover, a snippet, and the blurb.
