NEXT UP on my Monday series from the authors of the Dallas Meet and Greet on December 7th...

I read this Audrey's Promise, and LOVED it.  I could relate to the characters (a HUGE thing, in my book) and the story was well paced.  Honestly, it's a story that I've thought about writing myself, but never thought I could do it justice (politician and reporter).  The backstories were interesting as well as heart-breaking, and the depiction of small-town grudges was effective.  The dialogue was extraordinarily witty, and I want these guys to be my neighbors, because I think having them over for barbecue would be a riot.  Chemistry was very well done, and I found myself rooting for them to get together.  LOVED this book. I don't think I can say that enough.  I was hooked from the first chapter, and I think I read it in one or two sittings.
